Players Chophouse Restaurant and Lounge will be the answer for those in search of a distinctive and memorable dining experience or just looking for an engaging place to socialize. We have a fresh twist on the traditional steakhouse by creating a casually elegant menu and an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and leaves satisfied!

Management

Steve Brisson is a true service industry veteran! Corporate, resort, 4-Star hotels, restaurant owner/operator and a successful hospitality consulting business – Brisson has worked the entire spectrum of the trade. His talents and industrious nature have taken him to all a parts of the globe. After completing his restaurant and hotel manager certification in Calgary, Alberta, Brisson quickly became a rising star and by the age of 22 was a department head working with illustrious hotel organizations such as the Radisson, Fairmont and Hyatt Regency.

After performing stints in Edmonton, Jasper and Vancouver Brisson made the professional transition to luxury resorts. Costa Rica, The Canary Islands and tenure in the Grand Cayman are just a few of the world-class resort destinations on his resume.

For the past 10 years Brisson has made Vancouver home and become a well-known and respected fixture in the local hospitality scene. After ownership in the Benny’s Bagel’s chain, Brisson made the decision to add to his skill-sets by venturing into the nightlife arena. The Commodore Ballroom, Crush Champagne Lounge and the bustling Smiley O’Neil’s are a few of the venues Brisson spearheaded to becoming gainful businesses. In joining the Points West Hospitality Group, Brisson had decided to suspend his consulting practice and focus on assisting our team at the Players Chophouse downtown in developing a first-rate and profitable operation. Brisson is known for his emphasis on operations, staff development and nurturing positive working cultures.
